Heading in for a hospital stay? Regardless of whether you’re the one being admitted or the one supporting the one going in, post a note on the patient whiteboard in your hospital room expressing why your lover is incredibly special. List reasons, and ask any and all staff to please take extra good care of the one you love. Switch it up every time you’re admitted. You can ask a nurse or other visitor to help you write it on your board if need be.
There’s always a place on those boards for letting the staff know contact numbers in case of an emergency. When you put down your partners name as a contact, ALWAYS insist that they put, John (He’s the love of my life) Doe or Jane (I think she’s incredibly gorgeous) Doe. If you’re filling out the information, do something similar right there on the paperwork for your loved one. Do it every single time!
